S&P Global Leads Strategic Investment in Kaiko, Extending Series B to $110 Million
Kaiko Deploys First Institutional-Grade Oracle on Zenith, Canton’s EVM Layer
EVM developers building on Zenith can access regulated, multi-asset data feeds from day one of mainnet launch.
Kaiko, the global independent leader in digital asset market data and onchain data infrastructure, today announced the deployment of its Data On-Ramp oracle on Zenith, the EVM execution layer for the Canton Network. Live on Zenith testnet now and set for full production at Zenith mainnet launch, Kaiko’s oracle is the first institutional-grade oracle on Zenith, bringing regulated, multi-asset pricing data to EVM developers building on Canton’s institutional blockchain at launch.
Institutional Infrastructure, Now Available to Ethereum Developers
The Canton Network recorded $9 trillion in monthly transaction volume and 81.2 million transactions in Q1 2026, with more than 780 active institutional participants. Zenith extends Canton’s reach to Ethereum developers, allowing EVM-native applications to deploy directly on this infrastructure. As this developer base grows, the demand for auditable, compliant oracle data to power tokenized assets, lending, collateral management, and derivatives applications continues to expand.
Regulated Data Feeds for EVM Applications
Oracle infrastructure supplies the trusted, timely, and verifiable market data these applications need to execute smart contract logic, calculate valuations, manage collateral, and trigger settlements. Kaiko’s Data On-Ramp oracle on Zenith offers two access models: a request-response oracle and a pull oracle. Developers can access data feeds spanning digital assets and traditional financial instruments, including BMR-regulated reference rates, with full audit trails and IP entitlement controls built in. The oracle integrates directly into Solidity smart contracts, giving EVM-native protocols immediate access to regulated pricing data on deployment.
Canton participants who already use Kaiko’s data offchain or on Canton mainnet can extend their applications to Zenith using the same data infrastructure.
“Zenith represents a fundamental step in bringing the Ethereum developer ecosystem to institutional blockchain infrastructure. EVM compatibility allows developers to deploy familiar smart contracts and use established tools, libraries, and workflows on Canton, while benefiting from its privacy, permissioning, and institutional-grade settlement capabilities. Kaiko’s oracle infrastructure provides the trusted, timely, and verifiable market data layer these applications need to operate reliably in practice,” said Ambre Soubiran, CEO at Kaiko. “Deploying the first institutional oracle on Zenith continues our commitment to building the data layer that makes Canton’s infrastructure accessible for the full range of financial applications being built there.”
A Growing Data Infrastructure Commitment on Canton
Kaiko joined the Canton Network as a Super Validator in June 2025 and has since built out a series of data infrastructure for the network: oracle deployments on Canton mainnet, FCA-regulated FX benchmarks on Canton through the NCFX collaboration, and an onchain data initiative with Bloomberg covering tokenized U.S. Treasuries and repo workflows. Kaiko’s Data On-Ramp oracles were originally deployed on EVMs (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Hyperledger Besu), then deployed on Canton, Hyperliquid, and Stellar, with Zenith as its latest major oracle network.
“Oracle data is the bedrock of every meaningful onchain financial application. Without a truly reputable and trustworthy oracle, an entire ecosystem’s health and robustness can collapse in a second. That’s why we partner exclusively with institutional-grade infrastructure, and Kaiko stands among the very few that meet our standard and has withstood the tests of time. Its deployment on Zenith testnet delivers regulated data feeds from day one of mainnet,” said Heslin Kim, Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer at Zenith Foundation. “EVM builders can now launch collateral management, lending, tokenized assets, and perpetual futures on Zenith with absolute confidence in the data driving them.”
Kaiko has been a core data infrastructure partner for Canton Network since joining as a Super Validator, providing developers the regulated pricing infrastructure they need.”
said Bernhard Elsner, Chief Product Officer at Digital Asset. “Extending these services
to Zenith’s EVM layer for Canton means builders now have the same high-quality oracle data no matter whether they enter the network Canton-natively or through the EVM.”

About Kaiko
Kaiko provides institutional market data, analytics, benchmarks, and regulated infrastructure connecting traditional and blockchain-based financial markets. Its solutions enable trading, valuation, risk management, tokenized assets, and onchain financial applications.
About Zenith Foundation
Zenith is an EVM and SVM execution layer for Canton Network, giving developers a way to deploy Ethereum-compatible applications that interact directly with Canton’s privacy-preserving infrastructure. Through Zenith EVM and Zenith Stack, institutions and developers can bring existing Solidity applications onchain without building new infrastructure from scratch. Zenith is a registered Canton Super Validator and is scheduled to roll out to Canton MainNet as part of the upcoming Canton 3.6 release. Zenith also participates in Progmat’s Tokenized JGB / OnChain Repo Working Group in Japan and a leading industry working group shaping U.S. Treasury tokenization.
